I suspect there's something wrong with the MyBook's implementation of SMB. Unfortunately this drive is just entry model so has no usb port. Maybe because connection isn't SMB but cifs? Just to clarify, you mean in Calibre right? You can see the books and everything if you're just using file explorer right?
